CYNOFull-Stack Developer

FEBRUARY 2025 - TODAY, London

CYNO is my latest venture into creating community-driven applications. The platform is designed for dog owners who want to meet other dog enthusiasts, organize playdates, and build a vibrant community around their pets. I took the lead as a full-stack developer and tech coordinator, bridging communication between a designer and a product owner

I contributed to the maintenance of WIRE, an in-store user registration application. WIRE is deployed globally across the group's stores and requires highly specific customizations that vary by brand, country, spoken language, time of year, and many other factors.

  • Implemented seamless social login integration using OpenID Connect (OAuth2).
  • Automated end-to-end testing using Puppeteer.
  • Maintained a scalable microservices architecture using Nest.js and Docker.
  • Implemented comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest & Newman.
  • Conducted code reviews and provided mentorship to junior developers.

Who's up? was my inaugural venture into the startup world. We essentially built it from the ground up. The primary objective of this endeavor was to establish the first social network enabling individuals to spontaneously connect in real life. I assumed the role of a full-stack developer and served as the tech lead, facilitating communication between a team of two other developers, a product owner, and a designer.

  • Architected and developed a responsive and user-friendly frontend using React,Next.js, and MongoDB.
  • Conducted thorough unit and integration testing using Jest and end-to-end testing with Cypress.
  • Integrated localization libraries to dynamically switch between languages.
  • Implemented middleware for logging and monitoring solutions to track and analyze server-side performance and errors.
  • Used libraries like React Motion to achieve smooth and responsive animations.
